Two weeks ago I woke up to an email from my husband asking me if I wanted to go climb a bridge on his birthday in Scotland. Um, yeah! When have I ever turned down a trip to Europe? And further more, my husband rarely asks for trips so if he wants to go climb a bridge in Scotland on his birthday, then we are going to go climb a bridge in Scotland.
We are actually flying into Amsterdam, then taking an Easy Jet to Edinburgh. We’ll be there from a Wed to Friday evening, then we take a 7 PM flight back to Amsterdam. We’ll have one full day in Amsterdam and then we’ll head back home. It will also be around our 15th anniversary. For our 10th anniversary we did a two week trip to Scotland (without the kids). And I think it has been 5 years since we did a trip without the kids…
Anyways – we go on our trip in the middle-to-end of September. It will be a quick trip, but it will be perfect!
